Marijo Stojanovich, Tour Leader
Marijo is Zagreb born and raised but spends half a year on Cycling Croatia's Dalmatian tour. Soaring at 6'4 he's not your average-sized cyclist but has spent past 15 years combining work and pleasure on two wheels all over our beautiful country. When not in the saddle, this history buff enjoys hiking, catching up on movies, documentaries, and TV shows and traveling. Marijo has visited around 30 countries so far, most more than twice. The USA still remains high on the bucket list but Yosemite is definitely one of the musts. When it comes to this tour it's almost impossible to pick out a favorite part but if he had to choose, it would be the Island of Korčula. Before joining our team, he's been into tourism and hospitality for over 12 years. He has a degree in marketing and communications but amongst other things Marijo has worked in the oldest rock nightclub in Zagreb, organized numerous events, charities and one time even an exhibition in the Archeological museum that took over a year to prepare. Manages several properties in Croatia for a company he started in 2012. with a longtime friend. Since 2015., summers are reserved only for leading bike tours on Dalmatian coast and islands. But bartending skills still come in handy from time to time.
